It’s hard to argue against RealVR being on the cutting edge of modern pornography. After all, their movies drop you right into a virtual room with a pornstar instead of making you shake your dick at a flat and ordinary screen. That said, their passthrough VR movies bump up the immersion another giant step or two. Instead of fucking a famous starlet in her virtual bedroom, you can bang her on your funky old mattress in your very own home.
RealVR.com is a multi-studio Virtual Reality paysite with a growing stash of Augmented Reality pornos. Their everything-goes approach to these futuristic formats makes them an easy choice for headset owners looking for a huge, varied collection of 3D erotica without having to sign up for dozens of different premium adult websites. They get around 70,000 visitors a month, which ain’t bad at all, and today seemed like a good day for a little masturbatory jaunt into their AR smut archives. Who’s with me?
Real VR Porno, and Real AR Smut Too
Before I head straight into the Augmented Reality films we’ll be beating off to today, it’s worth taking a quick look at Real VR as a whole. The biggest gimmick here that sets them apart from your average paysite is that they’ve got VR content from around 30 different studios instead of just one. I’m talking big names here, including such well-known outfits as WankzVR, Virtual Real Porn, BadoinkVR, VRCosplayX and even kinkier brands like Virtual Real Trans.
I was a little bit surprised not to find quite as many studios listed in the passthrough VR section, as you’d find on competitors with a similar multi-studio setup. RealVR only added their passthrough collection at the end of last year, though, and with the rising popularity of the format, I expect to see more studios pop into the section soon.
As of this writing, all of RealVR.com’s passthrough movies were put out by the aptly named PassthroughVR studio, which is itself a production of BaDoink Studios. In case you ain’t familiar, BaDoink is one of the top purveyors of VR porno, and have consistently maintained a top-five slot on my list of VR Porn Sites here at ThePornDude. The high production values and world-class talent BaDoink is known for is also on display in AR here, but I’ll get into that in more detail shortly.
As you’ve probably guessed from all those studios, Real VR has a much bigger collection than your average premium sex site. There are around 1200 Virtual Reality porno movies in the library as I type this up, though the spread of AR flicks is a little humbler. Right now, you can drop pornstars into your room in a few dozen X-rated Augmented Reality scenes.
RealVR.com adds at least three new VR movies every week, which is probably about what you were guessing with so many different brands represented. I was worried the AR collection was growing at a much slower pace, and that was the case for a long time. The format’s really gaining a lot of traction lately, though, and the studios are keeping up. Real VR has been adding a new passthrough movie every week or so, and I wouldn’t be at all surprised if that rate snowballs as masturbators get hooked on the concept. Hell, we’re arguably still in the early days of VR adoption, so watch those numbers swell in the coming weeks, months and years.
Stacking Up the AR Porno Perks
The “regular” membership price for RealVR.com is $35 a month, which is a few bucks more than you’d pay for typical 2D paysites like my own PornDudeCasting. I put “regular” in quotes like that because there are regular deals to get your fix for less than what you’d pay for a traditional membership site. I’m writing this a couple days after Labor Day, which is their current excuse for offering memberships at ten bucks a month or even cheaper if you go longer.
Memberships also come with bonus access to a VR site of your choice, upping the value even more. The spread of options includes VRCosplayX, 18VR and BabeVR, so these ain’t the off-brand freebies you sometimes score with other paysite memberships. There’s also a $50 bundle that includes all three along with BaDoinkVR and RealVR, so consider your consumption habits before pulling the trigger.
You can watch your movies through your headset’s baked-in browser, and while it works just fine, I’d recommend the more native experience of using an app. Real VR is compatible with both Heresphere and Prism, the latter of which is free, so I highly recommend giving it a shot. RealVR even suggests using the apps on their passthrough VR tutorial, though I suspect it may have been written before the basic VR web browsers could handle passthrough vids. Either way, there’s minimal learning curve nowadays, so everybody and their tech-illiterate grandpa should be able to figure it out.
RealVR.com offers free video trailers, though you’ve got to make sure to tap the Free button before you hit Play or you’ll end up on the signup page. They also offer a full-length VR freebie, accessible via the Free link in the header. The scene is not Augmented Reality, unfortunately, but you do get 25 minutes of Aidra Fox sucking and fucking in 3D, so it’s hard to complain.
OMFG, a Pornstar in My Bedroom!
So you’ve got your Real VR membership and you’re ready to watch some real AR. The only question now is just where to begin. Do you happen to have any favorite starlets? Because they’ve got AR movies starring famous pornstars and gorgeous up-and-comers. I’ve said this before, but I just can’t get over how much more fun intro scenes are in VR or AR versus what you get on a flat screen. They’ve got over a thousand full-length movies from some of the biggest, most popular studios in the business, and I bet it’s just a matter of time before more of those brands are adding to the AR stash.
