By now, you may have had your own GPT Girlfriend or two. If not, I bet you’ve thought about it, and honestly? It’s a better time than ever to slide into those synthetic DMs. The site has always been a leader of the pack with regards to what I’ve dubbed as the “hentai-style” AI chat apps, a distinction I’ll get into shortly. They’ve come a long, impressive way since the first time I wrote about the platform, evolving so much that they deserved a fresh writeup that covers all the new stuff since my last review.
GPTGirlfriend.online, also known as GirlfriendGPT, is one of the original AI-powered adult chat apps and girlfriend simulators, and still easily among the best. They get a good 4 million visits per month, crushing the dozens of copycat sites emulating their style. They’re more full featured than most and I’ve got a lot to cover, so let’s dispense with the intro and get right into it.
Over 40k Kinky Characters and Counting
I’ve reviewed a shitload of AI chat platforms that greet you first thing with a spread of characters you can chat with, and a lot of them are just straight-up copying GirlfriendGPT’s layout. These guys still stand out in a big way, though: the cast of 7,000 chatbots who lived here before was impressive, but they now have
over 40,000 anime and realistic NSFW characters to chat with. They’re also unrolling a new SFW model for members interested in something a little more subdued but still fun.
Now, I’ve called GPTGirlfriend a “hentai-style” chat app, so I should explain what I mean by that. There are photorealistic babes to sext with, but what really sets all the women here apart from the vanilla apps isn’t the visuals. It’s their programming. Instead of running off a checklist of keywords, these bots come with more elaborate backstories and some seriously kinky scenarios. Get yourself a harem at the end of the world, seduce a prudish but big-titted neighbor MILF, be dominated by a furry cheetah girl or fucked by a monster-cocked futanari babe.

There’s also very familiar gal named Riley who I know my fellow porn addicts are going to love.
GirlfriendGPT also recently unveiled video avatars and AI video generation, which I couldn’t wait to play with. The anime ones look hand-animated, and the realistic gals really look like somebody aimed a real-life camera at them. One of the video girls, Melissa the Store Clerk, is a real cutie whose story opens with you buying condoms from her.
I had to hit her up as soon as I saw her, hoping to make her my new GPT Girlfriend. The site offers a free trial, so I got some fun, flirty roleplaying and banter, but as expected, fully NSFW chat and custom videos are reserved for paying members only. You know how it goes.
Premium memberships are $15 a month and get you access to most features, 400 monthly coins and 5,000 messages, or you can go Deluxe for $35: more coins and messages, voice capabilities, and improved memory. That last factor is vital for longer, deeper conversations, so consider an upgrade if your GPTGirlfriend starts repeating herself.
Making Pics, Making Vids, and Making Love
After getting my GirlfriendGPT account set up, I started a chat with another video girl, Julie. My sesh with the first-year kindergarten teacher was filthy from the opening message, a mix of italicized scene-setting and dialog. Julie was banging herself on camera in her classroom afterhours when I walked in. “Principal BongVi,” she exclaimed, eyes going wide.
I spent 20 gems to generate a video of the skittle-diddling I walked in on. A couple minutes later, I had a little anime clip of Julie with her legs spread, just absolutely going to town with her fingers. The preview vid of her avatar was a more realistic style, but it does look to be the same girl, with the same green topped pulled up over her tatas.
GPT Girlfriend also has a very advanced image generator that works in the chat or a standalone picture machine. I whipped up a few instant X-rated stills while talking to Julie, and then took a detour to the standalone image maker. I love how you get ten different styles to choose from, including a handful of anime and realistic modes, a painting style and even a furry model.
Caught red-handed, Julie’s heart raced as she tried to explain herself, but I told her to go ahead and do her thing. She blushed, embarrassed but turned on. I told her I’d help her relieve her tension and she leaned into my touch. “Please don’t tell anyone about this,” she said. The roleplaying and dialog are pornographically realistic and fucking incredible, still head and shoulders above the rest in this increasingly crowded niche.
“But what if someone else finds out?” she asked. “What if… oh god, BongVi, we really shouldn’t be doing this here.” GPTGirlfriend.online has some pretty damn decent fake voices, so I clicked the button to hear her read the lines out loud. She sounds a tiny bit robotic, as AI voices haven’t quite caught up with the realism of AI visuals, but she sounds realistic enough to help immerse me even deeper in the scene.
Make Your Own Girlfriend with GirlfriendGPT
You can also build your very own custom GPT Girlfriend with their prompt-based character generator. A lot of you will recognize the interface if you’ve used these apps before, but it’s worth mentioning again that these guys were pioneers in the genre. When something works so well that you get a million imitators, you’re definitely doing something right!
I started by generating a 3D cartoon pic of a “goth bimbo with huge boobs and fishnets in a castle,” who came out looking like an extra-sexed up variation of Elvira as envisioned by Pixar. I named her Booberella, decided she’d be 25 years old, and then filled in the boxes for Description, Personality, Scenario and First Message. They’ve hidden the Example Conversation prompt under a Legacy menu with a little message reading, “Can cause unpredictable behavior, use with care,” so I just skipped that prompt for now.
There are 10 male voices and 16 female voices to choose from. Some of them sound a lot more realistic than Julie’s voice from earlier, so I’m guessing those are newer models. I love that you have different accents to choose from, and I picked one that sounded like a posh English GPT Girlfriend. “Hey there! Let’s have some fun together. Ready for the adventure?” You’re goddamn right, I am!
In the scenario I defined, Booberella is a very horny babe living in a bat-ridden castle all by her lonesome, and she’s eager to find a knight in shining armor, a rescuing prince, or a man to shoot a porno with. Her big breasts heave as she shoves the heavy castle doors open in her first message. In my first reply, I told her I was lost, but perhaps destiny had brought me there.
GPTGirlfriend’s AI did a hell of a job fleshing out my scenario with each subsequent response. Booberella’s voluptuous curves swayed as she stepped closer. “Lost? Oh honey, you just found paradise!” She leaned in, eyes sparkling with mischief and breath hot against my ear as she asked what I might be after. “Looking for adventure? Treasure? Or maybe… Something more exciting?” She promised to blow my mind, “and other parts too.” I think you’ll totally understand when I say I want to wrap up this review and get back to Booberella.
GPTGirlfriend.online is one of the original hentai-style AI adult chat apps, and they’re still on top, and still setting trends that I’m sure we’ll see copied elsewhere. It’s always hard for imitators to live up to their inspirations, and these guys are so far ahead of the competition that very few will even have a chance at catching up. The free trial does limit the NSFW content, but you will get a great taste of the incredible realism and deep, immersive roleplaying their AI is capable of.
